Custodian
ZOe Pediatrics is looking for a Medical Custodian to join our team. The Medical Custodian position performs any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain clinical areas and administrative areas in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning trash or debris from the sidewalk.
The Custodian role is an essential function in our offices. The position will rotate shifts to fill time slots from hours of 7:00AM-10:00PM. Full Time position is benefits eligible for insurance, PTO, and paid holidays, after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash and replacing liner, dusting, clean windows/mirrors and blinds, straighten chairs, magazines or books
Clean and sanitize toilets, counter tops, sinks, exam rooms and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels)
Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors
Check and clean AC vents
Pick up trash on property outside and any trash on the floor inside the building
Water plants and maintain fish aquariums
Report major damages and oversee repairs
Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, check all doors at outside entrances and exits and other secured areas, notify designated person if irregularities are found

Education/Experience
Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Minimum 1 year custodial experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Requirements
Adhere to company policies and procedures and all Federal, State, and local medical service requirements, including HIPAA Privacy & Security.
Participate in / Drug Free Workplace / E-Verify participant/ EOE
Ability to rotate to multiple office locations as needed
