Anticipated IT Systems Analyst
REQUIRED CRITERIA:
• A minimum of two years’ experience in providing advanced information technology services and support
• In addition to demonstrating advanced technical skills in Windows, intermediate networking skills (wired and wireless) and advanced experience in troubleshooting of computer hardware, printers, scanners, peripherals, and mobile technologies are essential
• Experience and demonstrated expertise in video network/video services installation, management, and support
• Ability to quickly learn and provide support for multiple software packages
• Advanced experience and skills in problem identification and problem resolution techniques
• Experience in hardware and software compatibility testing
• Ability to use and demonstrate the supported hardware and software tools. Ability to
work professionally, patiently, and collaboratively with staff, students and vendor’s
representatives
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks with long-term projects and work in a fast paced
environment
• Provide backup support to Technology Support Specialists
• Ability to provide exceptional customer driven service
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Information Technology may deem appropriate
PREFERRED CRITERIA:
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in an IT-related field
• Relevant IT certifications
• Previous experience supporting technology in education
• Ability to provide basic – intermediate Mac OS X, and iOS support
