Assistant Professor of Political Science
UW-Stout is currently seeking an Assistant Professor of Political Science, focused on American Institutions and Public Policy.
This position requires a PhD in Political Science by the beginning of the appointment. Responsibilities include teaching 12 credit hours per semester, mentoring students, and engaging in research and university/community service as part of the Social Science Department, serving both General Education and the Applied Social Science B.S. program. Interdisciplinary collaboration with faculty in conducting applied research in non-profit, business and industry, social service, and/or government sectors is encouraged. Interest in online delivery is a plus. The ability to teach courses in Research Methods, and Race and Ethnicity in American Politics is also desirable.
