SUMMARY: Manages all table game operations on a designated shift of operation. They administer all functions of planning, directing, and staffing of the Table Games Department to ensure and maintain efficient and profitable gaming operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages daily operations of the Table Games Department. Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop and monitor team. Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for team members.
* Know and understand department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget to achieve effective management of department.
* Responsible for training and equitable treatment of all casino personnel.
* Knowledge of preparation and completion of required paperwork
* Ensure maximum protection of all company assets
* Ensures that games are supplied with adequate and operable equipment and appropriate personnel.
* Promotes positive customer and team member relations.
* Working knowledge all games, department rules, procedures, and policies..
* Has a basic knowledge of strategy and count systems.
* Opening and closing games as business dictates, verifying that the games inventoried correctly.
* Change cards/dice on shift change and every 2-4 hours on novelty games. Changes out damaged cards/dice
* Responsible for notifying/requesting photos from Surveillance and completing the CTR and MTL or as required per department policy.
* Ensures staff provides Thoughtful Service at all times.
* Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana Evansville's internal controls, policies and procedures
* Must be available for regularly scheduled work and willing to work various shift.
* May perform other duties as assigned.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages supervisory Team Members in Table Games Dept. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Thorough knowledge casino rules and procedures with previous Casino Shift Manager, Asst. Shift Manager, Pit Manager and/or Floor Supervisor experience. Working knowledge of all games, MTL's, SARC's and
the Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations and requirements. Basic knowledge of strategy and count systems. These requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate required, Bachelors' Degree a plus. Five or more years progressively related management experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming license
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be adept at training and presentations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and all other systems associated with position.
