Job Title: Snow Plow Equipment Operator
Job Description: The Snow & Ice Plow/Salt Truck Driver is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the plow or salt equipment operations.
This includes prepping trucks, plows, salters and equipment for snow events. Mobilizing to job sites, loading salt into spreader with skid loader. Interfacing with company winter operations which include: plowing, sanding, shoveling, snow blowing, operating skid steers, loaders ect. Interfaces with clients as needed and working under minimal direct supervision. Displays good on-site judgment and completes all billing paperwork in a timely manner.
Reporting Relationship: The Snow & Ice Plow/Salt Truck Driver reports to the Snow/Ice Account Manager.
Essential Functions:
Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance on equipment. Meets or exceeds company productivity standards for snow plowing and salting. Able to operate GPS and snow tracking system. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Assists in ensuring that company production standards are met. Maintains a clean crew truck at all times. Fills out and processes all job paperwork, timesheets, billing sheets Assists in the training of other drivers
Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily outdoors. Work may likely expose the employee to inclement weather and safety hazards such as falling objects, heavy equipment, power tools, noise and vibration, dust and dirt, fumes and odors, uneven or rough terrain and requires climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling and crawling.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in the operation, and maintenance of streets. Valid Utah State drivers license with a driving record free from serious or frequent violations.
Pay rate: $25.00 per hour
