Stockman Bank started planting our roots in 1953 in the eastern Montana cow town of Miles City. At that time our staff consisted of Bill Nefsy, owner and CEO; 4 Officers and staff members; along with Bill*s teenage daughter, Virginia. The Stockman culture of hard work, determination, commitment, tied with personal and professional success had begun. Since 1953, this unique culture stands strong through Virginia Nefsy Coffee; her late husband CM; along with their son Bill Coffee, current CEO; daughter Caren Coffee, current Executive Vice President; and the employees of the company.
