Community Development Planner
The governmental agency is accepting applications for a full-time Community Development Planner. The successful candidate will prepare technical components of the agency’s federally funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME and other programs which include: project proposal review, annual application, year-end reporting, project implementation and oversight, program monitoring and record keeping. This employee may assist with other administrative activities such as property acquisition, building rehab and demolition, contract administration and real estate activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years professional experience in a planning-related field in urban/regional planning, or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban/regional planning or closely related field.
Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000.
