Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Programmer.
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is an administrative position that develops and maintains the business intelligence (BI) reporting frameworks, tools, and data marts; works cross-functionally with stakeholders to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs; and oversees all components of BI projects to ensure timely high-quality reporting and analytics solutions. This person is responsible for providing SWIC with the necessary data and information for supporting ongoing daily decision making and strategic planning. This person leads BI project teams in providing in-depth analysis towards discovering new insights and is responsible for providing SWIC with timely, accurate analysis and profiles on student recruitment, student enrollment, student success, general industry trends, and strategies that can improve institutional business processes. This person will collect and analyze data and input from multiple external and internal sources and organize into actionable information. Working individually and within teams, the analyst will lead some projects, prepare issue briefs and assessments on key business and research topics within both tactical and strategic frameworks and respond to ad-hoc requests on competitive and strategic issues.
1. Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
2. Experience in SQL programming is required.
3. Experience with data warehouse design is required.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience with data-driven analyses is required.
5. Experience as a project manager is required.
6. Experience in training peers/professionals is preferred.
7. Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
8. Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
9. Experience with Microsoft BI (Excel, PowerPivot, SharePoint) is preferred.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS
$88,668 to $118,408
