Produces machine parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. General Duties: Plans machining by studying work orders & blueprints. Plans stock inventory Programs mills & lathes by installing proper equipment and tooling. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts and samples work pieces. Maintains specifications by observation of the machining process. Maintains safe operations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Maintains continuity among works shifts by documentation and communication. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. Requirements: High level of math skills Knowledge of G codes & M codes Able to read blueprints & measuring instruments Programming Experience (preferred) Verbal Communication Functional and technical skills Attention to Details Ability to lift and carry objects weighting from 15 to 25 pounds Why work for us?
