Custodial Supervisor (Custodian 5)

Within the first six months, you will have the opportunity to form relationships with custodial staff and SVC partners across the District. You will be engaged in establishing policies and procedures for proper custodial cleaning and setting the foundation for safety and compliance processes. Within the first year, you will build and strengthen the custodial team, and participate in the implementation and usage of systems related to custodial chemical management and occupational health and safety. Once established, you will be able to focus on day-to-day custodial operations, training and development of staff, cleaning of assigned custodial areas, and oversight of custodial cleaning standards, and occupational safety and compliance.
In this role, you will get to work on:
* Custodial personnel supervision: training, development, and evaluation;
* Policy and procedure development and oversight;
* Occupational safety and compliance;
* Custodial cleaning duties;
* Custodial equipment procurement and care;
* Emergency and disaster response and report;
* Administrative and other duties.
