Job Description

  • As a SAN JOAQUIN CHEMICAL INC. Technical Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to apply your mechanical aptitude and abilities to solve unique problems in systems like boilers and cooling equipment. Using technical skills that you learn through extensive SAN JOAQUIN CHEMICALS training you will help our clients save water, energy, and meet environmental guidelines.
  • Our current opening includes servicing multiple client facilities located in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

  • Ability to manage and organize multiple projects at once.
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies.
  • Be constantly learning from and obtaining careful guidance from our technical team.
  • Build professional skill through continued training, education, and networking events
  • High performance industrial water treatment programs require rigorous oversight and attention to detail.
  • Be cooperative with clients and coworkers.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a list of projects.
  • Organizing each day with a list of items to accomplish.
  • Retrieving chemical and testing reagent stock from a warehouse.
  • Following the most efficient route to visit multiple clients per day at their facility.
  • Performing on site water tests.
  • Calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing chemical feed equipment.
  • Monitoring chemical inventories (Which includes handling and delivering chemical)
  • Creating service reports via phone app and or writing service reports manually.
  • Presenting service reports to clients.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Reporting work performed via phone app
  • Installing equipment
  • Chemically cleaning equipment.
  • Filling out expense reports.
  • Position may require overnight stays two to three nights per month (Expenses paid).

Skills and Qualifications

  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to work full time and be flexible with hours.
  • Ability to learn and grow.
  • Ability to cooperate.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong focus on communication with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong mechanical background with experience with cooling and boiler systems.
