Psychiatrist, MH Nurse, RN/LPN, MH Nurse Manager – RN
RACSB is recruiting for the following positions for our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team:
• Psychiatrist
Has thorough knowledge of the principles, standards, practices and techniques related to psychiatry. Has thorough knowledge of the characteristics and precautions to be taken in the administration of psychotropic medication. Has thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques related to individual therapy and counseling practices for the mentally ill. Is able to accurately maintain patient medical records and prepare reports in compliance with licensure regulations. Is able to establish and maintain effective relationships with consumers, physicians, subordinates and others contacted in the course of work
• MH Nurse, RN/LPN
Serves as the primary nursing position in the Crisis Stabilization Program. A 24/7 highly intensive mental health residential treatment facility for persons experiencing serious psychiatric or behavioral problems which jeopardize their current community living. This position assists the staff psychiatrist and nurse practitioner in the prescription, administration and monitoring of medication, discharge planning and general daily patient care.
• MH Nurse Manager – RN
Under the supervision of the PACT Team Leader/Coordinator and the guidance of the PACT Psychiatrist, the Nurse Manager provides nursing services to participants in the agency's PACT. Services include delivery and administration of medications prescribed by the team psychiatrist and monitoring of the effects of these medications and the health status of recipients.
• MH Therapist
Provides direct therapeutic care in the agency's Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) providing comprehensive care and treatment to the seriously mentally ill in a mobile outreach model. Work is performed under general supervision and is guided by agency policies and procedures, quality assurance, public and private payor guidelines, diagnostic guidelines and professional practices and including ethical standards related to client interactions, state and federal PACT funding, licensure and accreditation regulations and guidelines; ACT Fidelity Model Standards.
• MH Specialist
Provides direct care and manages services for individuals having serious and persistent mental illness. Work is performed under general supervision and is guided by well-established and specific agency policies and procedures, quality assurance, public and private payor guidelines, diagnostic guidelines and professional practices and including ethical standards related to client interactions, state and federal licensure and accreditation regulations and guidelines.
