Head Start Teacher – Educare Early Learning Center
Puget Sound Educational School District seeks a Head Start Teacher to join our team of educators and work in a strong collaborative partnership with the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher. Job duties include collaborating with the Lead Teacher in designing and leading children’s learning, documenting children’s outcomes, and working with families. Minimum Qualifications
- AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (AA degree in related field with 12 college credits in ECE, or AA degree in unrelated field and 19 credits in ECE may be equivalent for AA in ECE)
- Early childhood experience in an early childhood setting.

Must obtain Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment, and CPR/First Aid Certificate within 90 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Head Start, Early Head Start, or other comprehensive child development/family support program experience
- Experience with diverse and/or low-income populations
- Current or former Head Start and/or ECEAP parent

Based in White Center at Educare. Schedule: Full-time, year ‘round, 40 hours/week.
Salary: $21.72 – 25.18/hour (Salary Schedule – PSAIII)
