Join the best team in healthcare! Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, one of the leading multi-specialty physician groups in the region, is seeking a full time Nurse (NCMA/CMA/LPN/RN) to work in our busy Orthopaedic Department.
This individual will be responsible for preparing patients for and assisting with examinations, preparing injections and medications, dressing wounds and incisions, maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient data. Will also return calls to patients, call in prescriptions and ensure that all essential lab work (including x-rays etc.) is available prior to examination. Experience with casting application would be beneficial.
The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, reliability, and will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be or have the ability to become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system. CPR certification required and current certification/license required.
