Job Summary:
The Customer Service Clerk is a full-time position based out of our Main Office location in Coxsackie, NY. This job requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task at a high level. This Department comes into contact with many different facets of Bank Business. The person in this position must be able to learn quickly and problem solve efficiently.
Job Duties:
- Handling general inquiries by customers
- Transferring incoming phone calls to the proper internal Department
- Check daily, weekly, monthly reports for errors
- Handling Debit Cards including ordering, researching potential fraud, and closing cards when necessary
- Communicating with Branch staff regarding accounts, and any issues that may arise
- Handling customer complaints as needed
- Develop a well-rounded working knowledge of Bank products, procedures, and policies to assist customer and Bank staff with questions
- Willingness to participate in project implementation when applicable
- Additional duties as assigned by Management
Background Requirements:
- Experience in Customer Service related roles
- Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to master systems and software that are utilized by the Department
- Must be versatile individual with a strong work ethic
