Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology

Provide primary medical care for the prevention, diagnosing and treatment of individuals who have digestive disorders involving the digestive/gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Some of the common conditions will include Gallstone removal, esophageal and colorectal cancer, diseases of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas, and dietary sensitivities such as celiac disease and lactose intolerance.
Minimum requirements:
MD degree and 72 months training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Foreign educational equivalency acceptable. Must have completed internal medicine/gastroenterology fellowship. Must be eligible for a South
Carolina medical license and must be eligible for board certification in internal medicine.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
