Summary of Position

The Case Manager Supervisor functions in a multi-disciplinary team to provide a professional and child friendly environment to assist in the investigation of child sexual abuse and serious physical abuse at the Madison County Child Advocacy Center. The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, development and training of the Case Manager/Advocates. The Supervisor ensures that all children and families served at the Center receive the highest quality case management/advocacy services in a timely and professional manner.


The Supervisor functions as a direct Case Manager and provides assessment, education to children and non-offending caretakers, connection to resources and short term crisis intervention and provides ongoing support to families until case and/or court disposition.


The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for the Outcome Measurement System and its implementation, data review, and output of information to the staff, boards, MDT and community. The Supervisor is responsible for grant reporting related to the Case Management Program. The Supervisor organizes, coordinates and facilitates case review.  The Supervisor assists with educational and training opportunities for the multidisciplinary team and community outreach and education.



Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in human services or similar field (social work, criminal justice or counseling) related to the mission of the CAC and five years related experience in providing services for children and families and/or supervising such services. Experience over 5 years may be substituted for master’s degree with a valid bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidate will have a history of working within a multidisciplinary team, and have supervisory experience and experience within the criminal justice and/or child welfare system. Strong organizational, team building, problem solving, written and oral communication skills required. A valid Illinois Driver’s License is required. Madison County residency required.
