TIG Welder

MAC Medical, Inc. is seeking energetic, quality-minded, and professional individuals for the position of TIG Welder. Candidates must have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment.

TIG Welders are responsible for welding primarily stainless steel components. Welders must adhere to product specifications, complete documentation, operate effectively in a team atmosphere, be self-motivated, and goal-oriented. Potential candidates need the ability to read blue prints, match work orders with components, complete quality inspections, and must have fabrication experience. This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy equipment, and properly wear and use safety gear. Air conditioned plant!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow blueprints, arrange metal pieces and fix them into position before TIG welding
  • Weld in different directions including flat, horizontal, and vertical on stainless steel, carbon steel, and occasionally aluminum
  • Safely set up and operate welding machines and other shop equipment
  • Match work orders to components
  • Ensure quality throughout the production process by completing continuous quality inspections
  • Process all required documentation
  • Weld, grind, and polish all metals according to component specifications
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must pass TIG Welding Assessment & Tape Measure Assessment
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of TIG welding & fabrication experience

Metal Polishers, Grinders & Deburr

MAC Medical, Inc. is seeking energetic, quality-minded, and professional individuals as Metal Polishers, Grinders and Deburr. Candidates must have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment. Experience using power tools is required and automotive body work experience is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use of various power tools and hand tools to polish, clean, and grind welds
  • Use of deburr machine
  • Create a show quality finish on stainless steel
  • Repair scratches, dings, and dents on stainless steel
  • Move parts to designated areas within the various departments using a hand truck or transfer cart
  • Receive and inspect incoming products to ensure ordered quantity matches purchase order; note any discrepancies or damage and enter information into computer
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations clean, neat, and orderly
  • Maintains company tools and equipment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must pass physical and drug screen
  • Must pass tape measure skills assessment and power tools assessment
  • Physical demands include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • Will require lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work accurately

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Polishing, power tools, ability to read tape measure and mechanically inclined
