Full-Time Paralegal
Paralegal – Provide series of tasks supporting attorneys and clients in a diversity of legal fields Anchorage Office.
Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Overtime may be required during periods of high demand Reports to Office Manager

Responsibilities - Include an understanding and/or experience with the following:
• Proactively maintain overview of assigned case workload; anticipate next steps and implement follow-up procedures to ensure tasks are completed
• Perform research, including review of documents and public records, prepare case chronologies; analyze and/or summarize documents
• Organize exhibits, records, and evidence
• Aid attorneys with discovery
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Facilitate between trial teams and internal/external third parties
• Maintain and organize exhibits, records and evidence, electronic and/or paper documents promptly and accurately
• Operate standard office equipment to perform copying, scanning, and faxing
• Work closely with others in internal administrative teams
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu)
• 3+ years of relevant law firm experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Required Skills:
• Ability to manage a case from inception through trial
• Understanding of the discovery process
• Electronic Discovery experience preferred
• Problem solving skills
• Strong command of the English language, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading
• Solid interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with courtesy and tact
