The Controller is responsible for all accounting operations of the company which include the preparation of regular financial reporting and maintenance of a control environment designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP).
Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the Company’s financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP
- Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package as well as presentation of the financial results to the Management and Executive teams
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate internal controls throughout the Company
- Leading the Company’s annual budgeting process
- Financial modeling and other financial analysis
- Developing and implementing improvements to Company processes through automation and streamlining of standard operating procedures
- Monitoring of regulatory compliance and ensuring all regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time
- Coordination and management of the annual audit and tax return processes
- Management/oversight of the billing, payables, payroll, inventory and financial reporting processes
Requirements

Required Experience, Training, and Special Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 10 years of work experience in a related field
- Five or more years of related management and/or executive leadership experience
- Certified Public Accountant designation required
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting required
- Public accounting experience in Audit/Assurance desired
- Baseline knowledge of partnership taxation preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
- Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
