Full-Time Neurology Physician Opportunity- 20 Minutes from Downtown St. Louis, with High Earnings Potential
Position Summary
Provides direct clinical treatment services to patients and their families on an outpatient and inpatient basis, insuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their diagnosis or disorder. Works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals. Focuses on attaining high standards of health care in their area of clinical expertise . Duties may include instructing, monitoring, and advising junior medical officers or other health care professionals as appropriate.

Doctorate-Medicine Required
Experience
Competent in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Age specific competency is measured by a variety of methods, which may include, but not be limited to, self-learning packets, review of age specific guidelines, direct observation, video, simulation, unit-based class, policies and procedures, or chart review.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Must be licensed for Physician and Surgeon in the state. Must also maintain an Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable to their specialty. Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program. Must maintain active medical colleague's privileges and medical colleague's membership. Must be board certification or board eligible. Licensed in the state of practice.

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a Neurologist to join our Provider Team at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois - Only 20 minutes from St. Louis! Work in the brand new HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, which opened in November 2017. This physician will practice with another independent neurologist to provide inpatient & consultative services with outpatient clinic. We are currently recruiting for two physicians. Enjoy a 1:4 call schedule. Physician will also assist our Neurology Team in the development of a primary stroke center. St. Elizabeth’s has an outstanding acute stroke rehab center, cardiovascular, vascular, neurosurgery, 24/7 stroke telemedicine (ED night call will be minimal). Physician will work with experienced neurology support team including director and coordinator. St. Elizabeth's Hospital is a full-service acute care hospital licensed for 144 beds with 300+ active physicians including two neurosurgeons, four vascular surgeons, physiatrist, and hospitalist program representing over 60 medical specialties. St. Elizabeth's is also a teaching hospital affiliated with St. Louis University School of Medicine.
