Client Services Assistant
Under the direction of the HEC-TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers Program Director, the Client Services Assistant provides clerical and office support to the Educational Opportunity Centers Education Advisor(s). Client Services Assistant (CSA) provides services to program participants in the areas of college, career, financial aid and social services support, researches and updates community resource information. Will assist participants with the completion of FAFSA, student loan, college application, scholarship, and other school related paperwork. Will perform high volume of data entry. Will maintain accurate electronic and paper records of participant interactions, provide high quality customer service, review and compile data for monthly reports. Each EOC office provides services to 1200 participants annually.
Associate’s Degree highly preferred; Two years’ experience working in related educational and/or other programs for persons from low-income/disadvantaged backgrounds; knowledge and demonstrated ability to use a computer to perform internet searches, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to generate correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets. Knowledge of and experience working with StudentAccess software desired. This is a full-time, non-exempt, 100% 12-month grant-funded position. The salary is $20,475-$22,500 annually, plus a generous benefits package.
