Requirements
- MBA or MA/MS in human resource management or a related field with a
- Minimum of 7 years progressive human resources and management experience which must include time supervising clerical and professional employees.
- SPHR preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and work experience in the areas of recruitment, salary administration, worker’s compensation, benefits administration, diversity, labor laws, and all facets of Human Resources.
- Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems, Compensation Management Systems and Performance Management Systems.
- Experience in behavioral healthcare or healthcare a plus.
Job Description Summary
Large, progressive, stable, Community Behavioral Healthcare provider, serving an Metropolitan Statistical Area of 500,000 people, seeks Chief HR Officer. Oversees all aspects of human resource management including Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Safety, Staffing & Executive Recruiting, Training and Development. Member of FBH’s executive leadership team. Functions as safety officer and affirmative action officer. Responsible for human resource policies, practices and procedures.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have a working knowledge of employment law, including the EEO/FMLA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA/WISHA, and other pertinent employment law and regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are needed (both written and verbal). Must have a car available or transportation acceptable to FBH.
