District 7 has a total enrollment of approximately 7,600 students in grades K-12. District 7 has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics, which has resulted in the District making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) according to No Child Left Behind guidelines for the fifth year in a row. District 7 students consistently score well above the state average in all subject areas for all student groups. District 7 currently has 16 teachers who have earned National Board Certification, and six administrators have earned doctorate degrees. Edwardsville High School provides a full range of curricular offerings to meet the educational needs and interests of its more than 2,500 students. EHS offers over 200 courses, including thirteen AP classes.
