QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
Delta Air Lines, Inc. has an opening for a QA Automation Engineer in Eagan, Minnesota.
Responsible for providing automated testing services for enterprise applications and infrastructure, including distributed Internet technologies (J2EE, web services, etc.), client/server applications, mainframe environments, and infrastructure components such as network components and server and client/PC devices adhering to QA compliance and standards. Participate in planning, estimating, and prioritizing processes to ensure the successful execution of testing activities. Develop testing deliverables including test requirements, defect tracking and reporting, test plans, cases, scripts, and reports for assigned projects. Provide automated testing services that adhere to QA compliance and standards, and design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts for assigned projects. Develop QA deliverables that adhere to QA standards including test requirements, defect tracking and reporting, test plans, cases, scripts, and reports for assigned project. Provide expertise on automated software testing, use of software testing tools, and promote and recommend these tools when appropriate. Provide inputs for planning and process improvements and prepare project reports as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and five years of software testing experience.
Must have experience with:
- Writing and executing test plans, test requirements, test cases, test scripts, and automated testing software;
- Knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodology;
- HP UFT, EggPlant, Selenium, Git Tools, and CI/CD tools;
- QA processes, test management and test automation;
- Appium, Cucumber, and Protractor frameworks; and
- CA DevTest.
Must also pass a standard company background check and drug test.
