The City of Grovetown is now accepting applications for Planning, & Community Development Director. The City of Grovetown is located in East Central Georgia near Augusta and Fort Gordon and is the fastest-growing community in Columbia County, GA.
This position will perform professional and technical work for the city in the area of urban planning, zoning, economic development and re-development, transportation and other related duties. The position is a member of the City's management team and would supervise the issuance of building permits, licenses, and occupational tax licenses, building inspections, and code enforcement. The position requires a 4-year degree in City Planning or other closely related fields of study. Master's degree preferred.
