Deputy City Clerk
The City of Gering is seeking applications for the full-time position of Deputy City Clerk. Duties include (but are not limited to) routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work. This position provides customer assistance, assists with the communication and interpretation of policies and procedures, keeping records of Council actions, assisting the City Clerk with preparing and distributing agendas for all meetings of the Council, and works closely with Department Heads and other administrative staff to provide assistance in processing requests for Council action. Applicants must have graduated from a high school (or have GED equivalent) with specialized course work in general office practices as well as three (3) years of municipal administration experience.
