20.10/hour; 37.5 hours/week
Closing Date: October 29, 2019
• High School Diploma or GED, supplemented by specialized training and/or Associates degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid South Carolina driver's license
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing a variety of applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations relating to the proper development and welfare of the community. Must serve as a resource and provide information to individuals, property owners, business owners, the general public, other City departments and other governmental agencies. Must be able to conduct field investigations; inspect the residential, business, and public premises for codes and building violations. Must be aware of and report hazardous conditions and document all findings in writing.
