Associate's degree, vocational-technical degree or specialized training equivalent to two (2) years of a college education. Valid South Carolina driver's license.
Processes arrest warrants of police officers and bond paperwork for City Court. Performs specialized clerical work including City bonds, General Sessions bonds, Right to Preliminary Hearing, Initial Appearance, and Financial Screening documents for all incarcerated defendants using appropriate trial dates. Assists judges in Criminal and Bonding Courts as assigned. Includes off-site work at the Florence County Law Enforcement Center. Must be able to perform specialized clerical work, including, but not limited to, filing, answering incoming calls, greeting and assisting defendants, bondmen, and attorneys. Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel software programs, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work as a team member under demanding conditions.
Be prepared to submit a 10-year driver's license report if requested.
