Business Office Manager
Peaceful and picturesque, Madonna Manor is located on 28 acres overlooking the Ohio River. Madonna Manor has been a leading Catholic senior living community in Northern Kentucky for more than 50 years.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, cashier, and data input. Demonstrates workplace effectiveness to assure communication of CHI Living Communities mission and core values.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with the collection of outstanding receivable balances.
- Verifies completion of admission forms, contracts and discharge of residents
- Prepares and delivers bank deposits
- Files for Medicaid benefits for residents and tracks progress of application through completions
- Completes billing and statement verification and mailings
- Works closely with corporate billing office for Month End processes and reconciliations
- Completes data input for COLA or PLs
- Maintain A/P Ledger and ensures all accounts payable are entered into the system to meet month end close times.
- Compiles and prepares data/reports as required by corporate staff as related to business office functions, including petty cash report and p-card report
- Maintains resident trust accounts
- Maintain A/R Reports and Census
- Understands and demonstrates knowledge of respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of resident in interactions
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and facility property.
- Submit statements
- Additional duties may be outlined by facility. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Medical billing/collection practices and computer programs for billing
- Knowledge of business office procedures
- Two years’ clerical, staffing or patient placement in a heath care setting
- Intermediate computer and data entry skills, and proficiency navigating online application software
