Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Life Insurance Company in Belleville, IL is seeking a full-time professional Administrative Assistant. Quality Customer Service talking with members, correspondence, daily insurance transactions, death claims, loans. Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Insurance background a plus. Must be able to maintain a satisfactory record of attendance and conduct and show a strong work ethic. We are a small office and we all wear many hats. Therefore we are looking for a team player with a friendly and professional disposition while possessing a sense of humor.
Duties Include:
Receive and record daily deposits
Provide excellent customer service by phone and correspondence
Process death claims and loans
Perform daily insurance transactions
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail along with extensive knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Ability to maintain confidentiality with client and company information
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of life insurance a plus
