The Memorial Cancer Treatment Center provides state-of-the-art comprehensive care in a comfortable, easy environment. Established in 1986, we have continuously worked to find better ways to fight cancer, and better ways to improve our patients’ quality of life during the process. Here is our basic approach: State-of-the-Art Technology Advanced technology is critical in detecting and treating cancer. Newer, better imaging and treatment technologies are continuously emerging and we are often the first in the area to adopt them. The Memorial Cancer Treatment Center invests millions in state-of-the-art technology to ensure we can provide our patients with the best care science has to offer. Comprehensive Care Treating your cancer may require multiple services including medical oncology (chemotherapy,) radiation therapy, surgery and imaging. The Memorial Cancer Treatment Center and Illinois Oncology, Ltd. together provide all the non-surgical services you may need to beat cancer in one easy-access facility. We provide surgical services at our network hospitals, Memorial Hostipal Belleville and Memorial Hospital East. Ease of Care We believe quality of life is as important as quality of care. Fighting cancer is a long and involved process that requires multiple treatments over an extended period of time. We not only provide multiple services, but we schedule them together, in one visit, whenever possible. This helps reduce the amount of time a patient may have to take off work, or be away from family, and allows them to live a more normal life during treatment. Easy Access Our facility was designed in every way to make things easier for our patients. Our five-acre campus is all on one level, which is easier on everyone, especially our senior citizens who may use wheelchairs, canes or walkers. Our facility makes it easy for a family member to drive right up to our front door and help the patient in. Once inside, there are no long confusing corridors, no elevators, no need to find a directory or map. Our small, comfortable waiting room is right inside the front door. Personal & Friendly We believe smaller is better when it comes to patient care. You will never feel like a number at The Memorial Cancer Treatment Center.
