We currently have two outstanding full-time opportunities for Respiratory Therapists to care for our medically fragile and complex neonatal & pediatric patients/residents. We are seeking to fill 2 night positions with schedules including weekend and holiday coverage and will require participation in the "on-call” rotation to cover sick calls. RRT'S provide independent, professional cardio-pulmonary care and perform diagnostic procedures on pediatric patients in support of their total medical care. Occasional prolonged standing/walking and lifting of supplies and/or equipment. Position requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to maintain the airway and manually ventilate the patient during a code. Working knowledge of EMR programs preferably Meditech.
Candidates must have a current New York State License and be RRT certified. BLS required, PALS preferred. One of these positions is in our Long Term Care Unit and experience in Long Term Care is preferred. Must have at least 2 years' experience with neonatal or pediatric patients.
