Benchmark Physical Therapy & Aquatics Center is seeking a PART TIME, highly motivated, career oriented, and energetic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position is responsible for all administrative aspects of delivering effective and efficient Physical Therapy administrative support. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATION
- Greeting patients and checking them in for their appointments; addressing scheduling needs, and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines
- Managing all administrative aspects of the patients Plan of Care: ensuring demographic information is current, scanning documents, charging Co-Pays, checking authorizations, and updating PT prescriptions
- Running administrative reports verifying Deductibles and Co-Pays are accurate
- Answering, assisting, and directing all incoming telephone calls/voicemails, to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Setting reminders in patient accounts to assist in efficient Plan of Care (POC) management
- Performing related clerical work such as typing, filing, and scanning
- Performance of any other administrative assistance to team members, as needed
BILLING AND INSURANCE
- Verification of Insurance Coverage and Benefits; explaining benefits to patients
- Communication with parties needed to maintain the PT Plan of Care; distributing PT documentation to requesting parties
- Using software programs to create letters and other business-related documents
- Providing any other billing/insurance administrative support, when needed
PT PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
- Assisting PT Practitioners with POC documentations, such as Home Exercise Program printing/scanning
- Cleaning and preparing PT treatment rooms
- Assisting with PT linens as necessary
- Faxing PT related documents to appropriate parties
- Running PT Patient Schedule Management reports, and assisting practitioners on effectively and efficiently managing their patient case loads
- Oversight of general maintenance and cleanliness of all aspects of the office

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Two years of administrative/billing experience preferred (or equivalent customer related ability)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Excellent Customer Relationship Skills
