Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Learning
Bellingham Technical College (BTC) seeks a full-time Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Learning (VPAASL) to begin in July 2018.
BTC is located in the heart of Bellingham Washington about 90 miles north of Seattle, and 60 miles south of Vancouver, BC. We educate a diverse population of over 8,000 students in more than thirty associate degree and fifty certificate programs. BTC is a leading educational institution, and the only technical college, in northwest Washington State.
The Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Learning (VPAASL) supervises and provides leadership, vision, and administrative management for all instructional programs at the College. This includes the effective utilization of resources to achieve a balanced and responsive curriculum, furtherance of the College mission by ensuring instructional activities meet all standards of quality and appropriateness, supervising of instructional staff, planning and evaluating programs of instruction, developing and managing assigned budget of the College, and coordinating functions between instructional program units as they work with other segments of the College.
The VPAASL Administrative contract ranges from $128,800-$135,300 per fiscal year, depending on education and experience.
