Belleville AmeriCorps is now accepting applications to serve as volunteer coordinators and fall tutors to elementary-aged children in the Belleville Public Schools.
AmeriCorps members earn both a living allowance and an education award for college. Members over 55 can transfer their education awards to their children, foster children, or grandchildren.
Full-time members may qualify for both Child Care Assistance and Health Insurance.
Members are eligible for a MetroLink and a MetroBus pass, provided by Southwestern Illinois College.
