ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER
METAL FABRICATION & MACHINING
B & D Machine Works, Inc. provides metal fabrication and machine shop services to a variety of industries and customers. We are seeking an experienced person for estimating and project management.

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to create part and/or assembly quotes based on customer drawings and RFQ’s generated through the sales group.

Key requirements and qualifications for the position include the following:
•Experience with estimating and technical expertise in metal fabrication and machining.
•Working knowledge of CAD to process customer drawing files for quoting.
•Working knowledge of MS Excel
•Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with customers, sales staff and internal team members.
•Must be able to work in a dynamic environment in which fast response is normal – where lead time is critical on quotes and delivery.
•Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Mechanical Engineering background beneficial
