Requirements
Education Level: High school diploma with some college coursework completed
Technical Skills: Must possess strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must also develop proficiency with billing software to be able to evaluate accounts and promptly respond to inquiries regarding patient balances. Must have a knowledge base regarding the revenue cycle which includes demographic entry, charge/cash posting, insurance billing, refunds, reimbursement rates, bill runs, and fee schedules.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of five years related experience and/or training. Prefer previous experience managing a medical practice with multiple providers.
Other Requirements: Strong communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills. Must have strong trouble shooting skills and problem solve in a timely manner. Must function independently with little supervision needed
