To apply prescribed ultrasonography for diagnosis in accordance with policy and procedure, Practicing independent good judgment and initiative in the utilization of the ultrasound equipment. To apply patient care, communicating the procedure performed, lessening apprehension and in Accordance with the hospital's Patient Rights Policies. Has knowledge of the needs of patients According to their age group and the ability to modify care according to patient's age.
Requirements
¨ Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent
¨ Certification / Licensure: A.R.R.T. registered preferred
¨ R.D.M.S. certified or registry eligible

RADIOLOGY TECH ASSISTANT
Job Description
Transportation of patient to and from the radiology department utilizing proper body mechanics and ensuring patients safety in accordance with the hospital and department policies. Has knowledge of the needs of patients according to their age group and ability to modify care according to patient's age.
Communicating with patient in a courteous manner informing them of procedure to be performed and mode of transportation. Identification of self and department when transporting patient.

REGISTERED ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN - Day Shift
Job Description
Responsible for performing quality cardiology diagnostic testing under the direction of a physician. May engage in all departmental activities to provide safe and effective delivery of patient care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation for
newborn, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the parameters guided by the American College of Cardiology.
Requirements
¨ Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent required.
¨ Certification/Licensure: Certified Cardiology Technician preferred
¨ Experience Requirements: Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment).
¨ Typing skills and general computer knowledge required.
¨ Medical terminology familiarity required.
¨ Formal training and/or 1-2 years experience in Cardiology preferred.
¨ Basic ECG/EKG interpretation skills preferred
RADIOLOGY CLERK
Job Description
Greeting of patients, visitors, physicians and hospital staff in a positive and courteous manner. General clerical duties to include: Verify and enter orders into the computer system, schedule patients in the computer system as needed, and maintain an organized office area.

REGISTERED POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIST

A Sleep Lab Technologist, Registered is responsible for performing artifact free Polysomnography, PAP Titrations, MSLT and MWT studies and the scoring of those studies. The duties and responsibilities are outlined below.
Requirements
¨ Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in Science preferred.
¨ Certification/Licensure: Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment).
¨ Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (BRPT) or National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
¨ Experience Requirements: Experience in a technical healthcare field with training and 3-5 years experience in Respiratory Care and/or Sleep preferred. 1 year experience as a Registered Sleep Technologist preferred.
