OB ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR
Job Description
This is a 12 hour shift position as part of a 24/7 team of that is responsible for registering and coordinating hospital admissions including any changes needed during the patient visit such as status changes, bed changes or physician changes for medical or OB admission or new born admissions. Although this position has a major focus on admissions the responsibilities also include the registration responsibilities for all OB outpatient services and ER registration processes and procedures as needed. This position works closely with ER registrars and ER Charge Nurses, Care Coordination and other nursing units. Excellent Customer Service is necessary.
Requirements
¨ Two or more years of registration experience is required.
Two or more years of admission registration experience is preferred.
Prior Customer Service Experience is required.
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent.

EMERGENCY DEPT TECH -Multiple shifts

Job Description
Responsible for the assignment of ICD-9 CM/CPT codes to the record of patients treated at Anderson Hospital. These records can include Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Room and Outpatient Surgery.

LEAD RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER - Day Shift
Job Description
The lead RCP's will have responsibility and accountability for staff assignment, work assignment to facilitate the provision and completion of respiratory care services. This position will afford direction to the "A" and "P" shift. The Lead RCP's must be knowledgeable regarding hospital policies, procedures, and standards to assist department director and Chief Therapist as needed in departmental operations and activities and emergency preparedness and response. The Lead RCP's will assure that their respective shift RCP's are competent in the delivery of Respiratory Care (RC) and assessment of patients requiring RC interventions.

¨ Education Level: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
¨ Certification/Licensure: Current credentials with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC),Certification required, Registry preferred
¨ Current State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License required

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST
Job Description
1. Completes final analysis of discharged accounts verifying the completeness of the medical record, per HIM procedures, contacting providers when necessary for need documentation or clarification.
2. Performs quality audits on processed records effectively communicating results with HIM management.
3. Maintains an accurate and clean Master Patient Index by reviewing potential duplicate patient medical record numbers and merging the accounts when appropriate. Coordinating with other departments as necessary.
4. Releases information to internal and external customers as appropriate per the Release of Information policy and provides customer service to patients within the HIM department and via phone or email.
5. Assists in training HIM staff as needed effectively creating educational documentation as needed and/or requested.
6. Assists in maintaining patient engagement by monitoring MyHealth Portal reports and assisting patients in setting up access to their MyHealth Portal.
7. Serves in other HIM department roles including chart analysis and release of information when coverage is needed

REHAB SECRETARY
Job Description
The clerical support staff assists in maintaining a well-organized and functional department and promotes safe and effective care of patients through support services. The clerical support staff performs clerical duties for the department including charting, typing, faxing, filing and handling telephone communications. The clerical support staff has the responsibility for coordinating patient admissions, obtaining physician's orders, scheduling appointments, and entering charges and/or re-visits when necessary using the computer. The clerical support staff may also assist in obtaining updates of employee credentials.

Responsible for registering patients presenting for emergency services at Anderson Hospital or urgent services at an express care location by accurately and efficiently collecting patient demographic information and insurance information and entering it into the hospital registration system. This includes POS collections for any patient liabilities due at the time of service. This position will also be responsible for learning multiple software applications that relate to the registration processes and the collection processes. As a front line employee, the Patient Access ER Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while also protecting the privacy of the patient's health information.

Job Description
Provides training to all Anderson Medical Group providers and their staff in all modules of the NextGen system including but not limited to Practice Management, Electronic Health Record, Image Control System/Document Management and Patient Portal. Assists COO with intranet development and updates. Convert video tapes/files to format required for presentation. Assist staff in the development of educational materials and programs to electronic media. Provide image/video editing services as needed. Potentially works a non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Description
Bills Medicare claims for Anderson Hospital and Maryville Imaging. Reviews and analyzes unpaid claims, determining action steps for follow-up and claim resolution. Processes payor denials and resubmits corrections to resolve denial. Processes and resolves credit balances. Processes claim edits, as well as late and lost charges. Processes Medicare Return-To-Provider requests.
