Director of Philanthropy
This position is responsible for Aldersgate fund raising activities implementing the Board approved integrated development plan including annual giving, major/capital giving and planned giving. This position reports to the CFO and will also work closely with the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Director of Mission Advancement to advance community engagement. Key components of the position include the ability to develop and implement an assertive financial development program with emphasis on planned giving/endowment, strategic capital campaign planning, and annual giving programs. Develops and implements a comprehensive program to identify, cultivate and increase the donor base at Aldersgate. Develops and maintains relationships with foundations, corporations and churches. Coordinates, develops and edits grant proposals. Develops and implements annual campaign efforts.
