Summary:
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in servicing and repairing vehicles. Promotes company and branch location employee cohesiveness through effective communication, teamwork and shared services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.)
· Coordination of vehicle service scheduling, maintenance and delivery;
· Responsible for examining and determining need for vehicle repairs; Also, responsible for all lubrication, light mechanical work and tire repair and maintenance as qualified;
· Responsible for ensuring that interior and exterior of service station facility is neat, clean and in good condition and report to supervisor any issues that may need resolution;
· Promote new products and services to customers; assist with stocking inventory;
· Perform customer check out using point of sale system and/or writing tickets;
· Assist in the maintenance of the shop work area as qualified;
· Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations;
· responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meeting commitments;
· Effectively communicate by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management;
· Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements;
· Complies with all state and federal laws, codes and regulations;
· Present a clean and professional appearance;
· Responsible for prompt and regular attendance;
· Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed by their immediate supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic computer operation experience. Willing to seek out and attend additional continuing education, seminars, classes or other job-related education requirements or opportunities.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Driver’s License Required.
Reasoning Ability:
The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to think quickly and perform a mental assessment of workplace hazards, take appropriate precautions, and choose appropriate PPE as dictated by need, regulation, and labeling.

The noise level in this work environment is usually loud (although not believed to exceed the eight-hour threshold for working in or around loud equipment).
