Job Overview
Relationship Manager (Branch Manager) are responsible for directing the operations of a Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans and expectations.
Major Responsibilities
- Direct, develop, motivate, and discipline branch personal
- Administers performance evaluations, coaching sessions, career planning, and recommends appropriate personnel actions
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a sales environment that builds strong member relationships and retention
- Represent the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, vendors, other financial institutions, and similar groups while maintaining communications with Area Manager, Direct of Retail Sales, and other Executive Staff
- Act as a Member Service Representative and Teller as needed to include underwriting consumer loans ensuring timely member service, accurate documentation, and loan policy compliance Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
- Prepare and submit standard reports within target deadlines in addition to attending all scheduled management meetings and training sessions
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three to Five years of similar or related experience
- Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of financial regulations, compliance rules, and policies and procedures, in addition to consumer and mortgage lending with a proven track record of selling and servicing loans
- Minimum of three years of increasing responsibility/job experience in financial operations/consumer lending and sales is required
- Physical qualifications include standing or sitting at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Previous credit union experience is a plus
